This policy explains returns and refunds on FORSA, a multivendor marketplace. It is designed to comply with the Saudi Consumer Protection Law and E-Commerce regulations while reflecting the nature of construction tools and materials.
General principles
- FORSA facilitates transactions between buyers and vendors. Return eligibility may depend on the vendor, product category, and whether the item is defective or not as described.
- Your statutory rights under Saudi consumer protection law are not affected by this policy.
- Products must be returned in a condition that allows resale unless the return is due to defect or error.
Standard return period
For most standard products (tools, hardware, and general materials), you may request a return within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product is unused and in original packaging with all accessories and documentation;
- You provide proof of purchase (order number); and
- The product is not excluded below.
Non-returnable items
The following are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns (defective or misdescribed items may still qualify):
- Custom-made, cut-to-size, or specially ordered materials.
- Bulk cement, aggregates, or mixed goods once delivered.
- Sealed chemicals, paints, or adhesives once opened.
- Digital products or downloadable content after access begins.
- Equipment rental items — governed by rental terms.
- Products clearly marked as final sale or non-returnable.
Defective or not-as-described products
If a product is faulty, damaged in transit, or materially different from its listing, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will work with the vendor to offer repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate under Saudi law.
How to request a return
- Email [email protected] or use your account order page with order number, item(s), and reason.
- Wait for return authorisation and instructions (usually within 2 business days).
- Ship or arrange collection as instructed. Return shipping costs may apply for change-of-mind returns unless the vendor or FORSA policy states otherwise.
Refunds
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Refunds are typically completed within 5–14 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
- Original delivery charges may be non-refundable for change-of-mind returns unless required by law.
- VAT refunds follow ZATCA rules where applicable.
Vendor-specific policies
Some vendors may offer extended return windows or additional buyer protection. Any such terms shown on the product page or at checkout apply in addition to this policy where they are more favourable to you.
Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with a resolution, contact our support team. You may also refer the matter to the Ministry of Commerce consumer protection channels available in KSA.
